tip: brown rice, start boiling with 2 teaspoons soy sauce, when adding rice add grated carrots. In the end the carrots almost disappear, but leave a nice flavor)
It is a simple method. For 2 cups of rice you add 4 cups of water. It is always double the water to the amount of rice. However for boiling you can put plenty of water and boil until cooked and then drain. No measurement needed.
