Remember this in car audio you get what you pay for. This means the cheap equipment will work.....BUT do you want to hear music or do you want to hear noise from poor destined audio CD players and crappy amps. The choice is your's but you will regret the cheap route. Because you will end up going back out and buying better equipment so don't put your hard earned money into trash
Pioneers are decent...but the best subs are rockfordfostage and kicker. Alpine is ok too
the best combo for subs and amps would have to be P.G. amps and jl audio subs Flipy Floppy
No.
I have a set of 12 pr series subs. They sound great and in a small seaed box. I tried a set of jl w0 which were comparable. The jl audio subs literally fell apart.
If you have a extended cab, and are looking for subs, i would recommend anything that Audio Pulse makes. If you don't have extended cab, and are looking for door speakers that have some decent bass, go with Pheonix Gold Ryval series.
The company Car Audio Security sell a range of car accessories, such as car radios. Similarly, their webpage offers speakers, subs, amplifiers and security systems.
Overall I would have to say Polk Audio but this is definitely a personal opinion and also comes with some explanation. For example, I feel that Polk makes better small car audio speakers but I don't particularly like their subs or amps. Polk also makes great home theater speakers and I don't think diamond sells any home theater equipment except freestanding subs. To accurately compare these two brands you would have to limit yourself to a single product and compare that.

The Kicker 1500 Watt subwoofer is very, loud, but doesn't have the best clarity and can get muddy. Consider Pioneer subs.
