Who knows. If I thought for a moment they would be worth heaps in 50 years, I would be out buying as many as I could.

Chances are that is you can keep the coin in mint condition and the original packaging for the next 50 years, it will probably be worth a bit more than face value.

The Five Pound coin is issued as a commemorative or souvenir coin, not as an investment.

What is the value of a 2012 Australian Diamond Jubilee 50 cent coin?

These coins have only just been released into circulation so, unless they are part of a Proof or Uncirculated mint set or are individual Proof or Uncirculated coins and in absolute mint condition, they are worth 50 cents. If you have a Proof coin or an Uncirculated mint condition coin, they are worth whatever you just paid for them.

What is the value of an 1837 Queen Victoria coin old Queen on one side young Queen on the other silver with Latin writing. What coin and how much is it worth?

You have an 1897 Diamond Jubilee medal of a medallion. The medals were presented to members of the family, Royal household and various prominent people and public servants. You most likely have a medallion which was available from souvenir shops. Queen Victoria ascended the Throne in 1837 and celebrated her Silver Jubilee in 1852, her Golden Jubilee in 1887, and her Diamond Jubilee in 1897. Your medallion is definitely a collectible and will have some value. A reputable coin dealer will be able to identify your medal/medallion give an accurate valuation.

What is the face value of a silver Jubilee coin?

You do not specify whose Silver Jubilee or the country the coin comes from. Presumably you refer to the Silver Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth in 1977. Many Commonwealth countries minted coins commemorating this event. If you got the coin in your change, it is probably only worth whatever is inscribed on it.

Does the Queen Victoria jubilee gold coin exist the year 1900?

Queen Victoria celebrated her Golden Jubilee (50th) in 1887 and her Diamond Jubilee (60th) in 1897. British gold and silver coins minted from 1887 to 1893 feature what is known as the "Jubilee bust" of Queen Victoria. She is shown as much older than previous images and has a veil and a small crown.

A diamond cut 22ct gold plated Royal Mint original silver jubilee coin in original box?

The standard for gold coins issued by the Royal Mint is 22 carat. The Royal Mint issued the 25 Pence (Crown) coin for the Silver Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II in 1977. The coin was issued as a standard coin, a specimen coin in a presentation folder, a Proof FDC coin, and a silver Proof FDC in a case. No gold coin. There is every possibility that a gold commemorative coin was produced privately by the Franklin Mint or a similar company.

Where there any British commemoratives coins issued in 1893?

Yes. The concept of a commemorative coin as we know it today did not catch on until the 1970's however, British commemorative coins have been issued for nearly 200 years. It was the practice to issue a gold Five Pound coin (Quintuple Sovereign) for the coronation of a new king or queen, or for a Silver, Gold or Diamond Jubilee. There was often a Crown coin issued for these occasions as well. Neither coin had an inscription or a specially designed image indicating the nature of the commemoration as is the case today. 1893 was Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee year and a gold Five Pound coin (Quintuple Sovereign) was issued for the occasion. Although substantially larger, the coin has the same general appearance as any Sovereign coin issued for the period 1893 to 1901 showing the old veiled bust of Queen Victoria.

What is the value of a 1971 British Crown - bronze Jubilee?

Such a coin does not exist. In the English Monarchy, a "bronze" Jubilee is not celebrated or commemorated. A bronze Jubilee represents an anniversary of 8 years which is not a significant milestone. 1977 was the Silver Jubilee year (25 years of reign) of Queen Elizabeth II. 1972 was the Silver Wedding Anniversary (25 years of marriage) of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip. Crown commemorative coins (25 Pence) were issued for both.
