You can call almost any guitar store and ask them the "market value" for your instrument. You can figure approximately 25% of that as what they would pay you for it if you're trying to sell it outrite.
Well, why not go all out and buy a Gibson Melody Maker? it costs just as much, and it's a great guitar for that genre.
$500?
3000
More valuable then a machine made 1959 Les Paul guitar.
You'll be luck to get anyone to part with £10 for one. Old cheap copies are worthless.
the gibson les paul goddess was only made by gibson between 2006 and 2007....the msrp was $ 2499.00...i bought mine new for !500.00 plus tax (hard shell case included) at guitar center back in april of 2006
God invented THE Les Paul to entertain us and make guitar players around the world want to go home and practice!Les Paul innovated the electric guitar by making it a solid body, that would not feed back as much as hollow body electrics (at a given volume) and had a unique sound. Gibson and Les Paul together invented the Gibson Les Paul signature guitar.
It's pretty much the same on any guitar. If you have any further troubles, try asking a friend who plays the guitar to show you how.
About $50 bucks.
A person can purchase a Takamine guitar many places. Websites like musciansfriend, guitar center, Sweetwater, and the Takamine websties. Takamine guitars may cost as much as $1000.
A "real" guitar could cost anywhere from $15 at a Swapmeet to $15,000 at an Auction. If you mean by, how much would a great starter guitar cost, I would answer that with $99.00 plus tax at Guitar Center, a Squire Bullet HH. Two Humbuckers, Three way selector switch, and tons of bang for your buck. ========= the squire is a good starting guitar but i prefer one of the cheaper ibanez art guitars when i refer my students to a starting guitar or an epiphone, it just depends on you, and what you want. But yes ive seen some go for 10$ at a yard sale but watched Les Paul's wife's guitar sell for $90,000 on the television the other day.
Les Paul's prototype the "log" was created in 1940 and believe me it deserved its name and the les Paul came out not much farther afterwards and its not much different than the ones we play today
