I have a Selmer Flute and would like to know when it was made. The serial # is 776481.
It would need to be appraised by an instrument dealer as to its condition - wear and tear on the silver, the state of the pads and corks would be a consideration in determining value.
If you mean the series number is K.... , then the clarinet is not from 1948 but from the early 1930's (a 1948 Selmer would be N....). As such it would be of interest to people who prefer early Selmers, and if in really good condition it might be worth around £500 (sterling). Personally I think the K's and L's are the best they ever made, but not everybody would agree!
The most common male singing voice would be tenor, followed by baritone.
They treat their animals terribly! When I went there the dogs were hurt, sick, and sad! Do not ever go to Selmer's Pet Land, they hurt and abuse their animals! If i were you i would rescue a puppy or animal from Selmer's Pet Shop so the animal isn't abused and hurt anymore! Selmer's Pet land Abuses Animals!

If the pipes of a baritone were straightened out it would be 9 foot (2.74mtrs) end to end, which is the same as a trombone and a euphonium.
I would guess baritone but in order to find out it is best to see a vocal instructor and they will be able to tell u
Can't help you on the value--I would look for a clarinet blog or web site and ask there. The Selmer serial number chart indicates that would have been made in 1942.
It depends on the date. A 1909 S VDB cent may be worth thousands of dollars, however, wheat cents from the late 1940s and 1950s are only worth 3 or 4 cents.
It depends on the model and the condition. Bundy Resonite Selmer Bb clarinets are so common that you would be doing very well to get $50 for it, even in excellent condition. Other models may sell for significantly more.
Most people would say 'raspy' or 'baritone'.
