There's really no way to answer that, particularly as you aren't telling which currency you are talking about.
Assuming US dollars, a bike can be anything from a few hundred dollars to several thousands.
That's far too broad a question to answer specifically. Inexpensive bicycles for children can be bought for $40 or $50 at stores such as Wal-Mart or Toys R Us. General-purpose road bikes for adults can run anywhere from $200 for very low-end models to $1500 or more. Racers can sell for several hundred to many tens of thousands of dollars depending on quality, features, etc.
Without knowing what kind of bike it is, and what condition it's in, there's really no telling.
Can be anything between the cost of a fast food meal and the cost of a decent vacation abroad.
2010 Specialized Stumpjumper Expert Carbon 29'er: $4,500 (as currently built) $3,500 (stock)
Really no telling. You can get bikes for USD 100-200 to USD 6000-10 000.
Bicycles generally don't become expensive collectibles. Your best bet is to look at eBay and such sites to find out what similar bikes are selling for.
Too general a question - does not say which 'this bike' is.

2000-4000 dollars. This is very average though. It would depend on if you are buying it used or new. Other things it would depend is condition, brand, seller, and the parts they put into it. I would say if you are buying a quality dirt bike new it would cost anywhere between 2,000-14,000 dollars. Used would probably be anywhere from 500-9,000 dollars. There are more expensive ones but this is for a quality dirt bike, not an extremely professional dirt bike.
A new i-pod would b beta?? Well it depends really. Music is good but if you already have an ipod then there is not really much point in getting a new one. It also depends on how much you use your bike. Ifyou sont have an ipod but do have a bikethen get an ipod but if youhave both and use your bike quite a bit then get a new bike

N.Y, as every other place, has bikes of all kinds and price tags. You can pick one up from a pawn shop, flea market, craigslist or whatever for a few bucks, or buy a high end race bike for the kind of money most people would associate with the cost of a car.
