There are many reasons one might use 'nitro' at a monster truck rally. Nitro is a very highly combustible fuel and would allow a monster truck to perform in such a manner that would impress the audience.

For straightline speed, I would have to go with the monster truck.The typical monster truck makes over 1000 horsepower while the buffalo would be rated at well ... 1 buffalo power.However if you are turning, the buffalo has a much shorter wheelbase and as most of you know, monster trucks do tend to turn over when turning because they are often times top heavy.
