Modern Warfare 2 takes 1st place, while Black Ops comes in 2nd. Edit: In my opinion MW2 was too unbalanced. My order would be Black Ops, Modern Warfare, World at War, then Modern Warfare 2.

Modern warfare 3 is Infinity ward and they release November 2011 and also only release new games every 2 years. Treyarch did Black Ops 2 years after world at war. I think call of duty black ops is modern warfare 3. Im not sure but they would of made modern warfare 3 before black ops. They might make black ops 2.

Not technically, but if you think about it, Cod 4 was the first Mordern Warfare, so Modern Warfare 2 would be Cod 6, so the black ops could be Cod 7. But its not called that, Just Black Ops.

It is probobly Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. It is either going to be made by Infinity Ward or Sledgehammer. So I'm not sure what the outcome would be. According to my sources, Modern Warfare 3 should be out Fall 2011.
