It depends on the style, condition, and how long it has been since you originally purchased the clothing from American Eagle. Plato's normally prices AE shirts from $6-12, and up to $25 for sweaters and sweatshirts. You receive about 30% of what the item will sell for at Plato's. Likewise, AE jeans are priced at $16-25 at Plato's, so depending on the style & etc you would receive about $5-9 per jean. However, Plato's is known for being a bit picky because they can only buy items that they know will sell in their store. Don't expect them to take everything.

I personally think jeans are more important than shirts because shirts are easy to pick out and buy. Although jeans I believe, need to look as good as possible and attractive to people. When I go to a store I buy more jeans than shirts. So I would say don't spend your whole bank account on jeans but try buying more jeans than shirts but don't get to crazy and only buy just jeans because you need to have shirts to go with them sometimes. When I go to a store I buy anywhere from 3-5 jeans. Maybe that should help.
