Yes they do
the American Oyster lays an average of 500 million eggs per year.
I think that oysters lay 50 millon eggs in a single year
A single female oyster can produce up to 100 million eggs annually. The eggs become fertilized in the water and develop into larvae, which eventually find suitable sites, such as another oyster's shell, on which to settle. Attached oyster larvae are called spat. Spat are oysters less than 25 mm (0.98 in) long.
They do not give birth. They release sperm and eggs into the water, some species retain the eggs in their shell for incubation.
Soft-shelled eggs indicate a lack of calcium in the hen's diet. Feed more oyster shell or finely-crushed, dry eggshells.
I have found that a few of my hens lay eggs with wrinkled shells if they do not get as much calcium as they need. Check to see yours are getting free choice oyster shell or some other source of calcium. Also, a daily scattering of scratch grains may help too since the needs of each hen vary. This helps mine so perhaps it will help yours too.
