As often as you need to in order to prevent people from avoiding you, due to personal hygiene issues... The number of times you actually need to bath varies from person to person.
you don't need to bath them often, they clean themselves regularly if you bath them too often then there coat may become greasy so don't over do it. I'd say bath tem if they REALLY smell.
