Many do, but they generally don't do it on a strict schedule or because their religion dictates that they must pray 5 number of times per day.

AnswerI can't say that all Christians pray more than once a day. But according to The Bible: 1 Thessalonians chapter 5 verse 17 states "pray without ceasing".

Ephesians 6:18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints

So we should pray constantly to our Heavenly Father.

The Bible states: "Pray incessantly. In connection with everything give thanks." (1 Thessalonians 5:17, 18) "Keep on the watch and pray continually, that YOU may not enter into temptation. The spirit, of course, is eager, but the flesh is weak." (Matthew 26:40, 41) "Rejoice in the hope. Endure under tribulation. Persevere in prayer." (Romans 12:12)

Christians pray as often as it is possible for them to do so, as stated in the Holy Bible in 1 Thessalonians 5:17, to "pray without ceasing", and therefore, it is the responsibility of a Christian to pray as often as possible, NOT just in the morning or evening, but several times during the day.

Now, you may ask how does a person fit a whole prayer in during times when they're working? Well, some people may use a technique called "breath prayers", which are short phrases or a brief sentence that can be repeated to Jesus in one breath.

E.G., "You are with me." "I'm depending on you." "I need you now Lord", etc.

This is what will make it possible to pray more often, and so, to sum it all up, Christians pray as often as they like (those who are like me, who know how to feel and acknowledge God's presence in their lives).

Unlike Muslims, Christians have no specified number of prayers to complete in a day. The Bible say to pray continually, so devout Christians strive to talk to God about everything during the course of a day.

There is no rule that requires Christians to pray a fixed number of times. Paul taught that we should "pray without ceasing," which could mean all day long to try to be aware of God in our lives.

Some Christians pray once a day; many other Christians pray whenever they feel like praying, which could be often, or only occasionally.

One can praying according to need, or following a fixed pattern, although some Christians like to follow a fixed pattern as well as praying at other times as well.

Addendum:Regarding Paul's admonition to "pray without ceasing," it has been interpreted that this could mean to literally engage in ceaseless prayer, another perspective could be ceaseless aware of God. Yet again, a third perspective, sort of a combination of both previous interpretations, is to literally stay open to the presence of God and communicate with Him as if he were literally at your side every moment of every day. This might seem strange, however consider that from the Christian perspective, God is omnipresent.

Think about it this way: there are people in our lives who are with us often, and we have little to no difficulty acknowledging them when in our presence. We talk to them, we communicate with them in nonverbal ways. It should be no different with God. If we have a relationship with God, it is no less intimate than any person in our lives, in fact it is far more intimate than most of us often acknowledge.

Jesus did not provide instructions on praying every day, although Paul did speak about "praying without ceasing."

Prayer is an important part of the Christian life, but it is significant that Jesus' teaching was focused on the way we live our lives, rather than on the way we pray.

As can be seen in the related question below, "How did Christians pray?", prayer is an aid to living the Christian life, and a means of focusing on the needs of others.

Christians do not have rules to indicate that they should pray once on a Sunday, or anything like that.

When they attend a worship service, on a Sunday or on any other day, Christians pray at different times during the service.

Many Christians pray many times every day, some only pray when they attend worship services or during times of need.

Jesus taught us to pray in a way that takes into account God's plan, our own needs, and the needs of others. See the link to the related question, shown below, "How did Christians pray?"

The Bible says to pray without ceasing. Most of us can't live up to that but the point is that prayer isn't so much something with a definite start ("Dear Lord") and end ("Amen") but rather talking to God, like you would anyone else. He's always there and always listening so you could be in communication with God all day by keeping him in mind.

Most Christians pray before every meal and before bed and any time during the day depending on the person, they can pray 5-6 times a day.

"Pray without ceasing." 1 Thessalonians 5:17

This varies depending on the person, if they are very religious they are most likely to pray more often.

When do Christians pray and how often?

Most Christians will pray according to the situation. Some like to have a special time in the morning, or in the evening, or during the day, to pray. However, Christians that follow this pattern will also pray at other times. Some Christians do not pray very often at all; others pray frequently. There is no command in the Bible that lays down fixed times or frequency for praying, except for Paul's command to "pray without ceasing." This can be understood as always to be seeking to be aware of what God is doing and what he wants the individual to do, rather than just offering prayers in words, although prayers offered in words would be made as well.

Do Christians pray once a day?

There is no rule that requires Christians to pray a fixed number of times. Paul taught that we should "pray without ceasing," which could mean all day long to try to be aware of God in our lives. Some Christians pray once a day; many other Christians pray whenever they feel like praying. That is closer to the Christian ideal, than following a fixed pattern, although some Christians like to follow a fixed pattern as well as praying at other times as well.

How much do Christians pray?

In Matthew 6: 5-15 Jesus tells Christians how to pray, in saying not to pray like a hypocrite or a pagan for self-promotion or in babbling. In 1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18, the Apostle Paul tells the Christian to:Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. So basically, we are told in the New Testament how to pray and to pray continually. This doesn't translate into a rigid set amount of times per day, as much as being in a continual state of prayer throughout the day, i.e. talking to God, praying for needs, praising Him and offering thanksgiving through out our day.
