What all can you feed your Oscar fish?

Ive got 2 Oscars 1 about 8 inch and the other 5 inch you can feed them pretty much anything i feed mine flake food, Malawi mix, pellets, mysis, mussle meat, cooked+peeled prawns even slices of chicken, ham + turkey what you put in sandwiches. also garden worms and small live fish apart from goldfish because they can spread diseases to your Oscar and plus they don't give your Oscar any nutrition, another couple of things you could feed them are grass shrimp, crayfish and they love cut meats such as beef heart and liver. they will eat almost anything you give them. i hope i helped

Oscars (Astronotus occelatus) are almost always hungry. When they are young as close as you can get to a constant supply of food is good. (Keep their tummies full). As they grow and get older then less (once or twice daily) is OK. (Never feed more than they can eat in 15 minutes) and remove uneaten food immediately.To avoid "Hole in the Head disease' (and other problems) which are common in Oscars, a weekly feed of earthworms will keep them healthy.

flake food and blood worms are good after the bet bigger get massive delight a little pricey but man do they grow feed only every three days maybe a little treat here or there DONT feed them gold fish or any other for that matter they WILL give your Oscar DISEASE you DONT want that been ther done that also just to let you i don't know what kind of tank you have but ONE Oscar needs 55 gallons of water so keep this in mind with yours i have one 55 gallon with ONE Oscar in it with two eheim 2217s runing on it and there rated for 165 gallon each they run for about 125.00 each but the media never needs replaced just the filter and that's every 2 months just rinse the media and put it back in hope this helps

For a small Oscar you can feed it small and medium cichlid pellets and for a bigger oscar you can go up to crickets and feeder fish once they get big enough.
