You can give any size dog penicillin. It would need 3 mL or 3 cc's.
This information should be printed on the Rx label of the bottle received from your veterinarian.
my dog is seven years old she had a cold can i give her 250 milligram of amoxicillin antibiotics and how often.
Consult your vet, don't give your dog medication which was indended for humans.
my Chihuahua ate a penicillin pill what can I do
Penicillin doesn't treat yeast infections, and you want to talk to you vet before giving your dog "human" meds... they have different metabolism than we do, and things that are safe for us are not safe for them.
I am just guessing, but I say 250 milligrams. I don't want to kill your dog or something, so you may not want to give your dog 250 milligrams. Best, Darren (North Carolina)
what is the dose for penicillin g procaine for a dog
This will vary depending upon the concentration of the penicillin, the location and type of infection and the overall health status of the dog. If you believe your dog has a condition that needs treatment with penicillin, you should take your dog to your veterinarian.
You risk killing the dog.
monthly
Assuming you have the penicillin G procaine you give 20,000 units per kg. in a 15# dog this would 6.8 (changing pounds into kg) multiplied by 20,000= 136,000 units
