about every month or every other month.
When they need them, watch the nail. If you look at them you will see the nail curves, you don't want to cut past that curve because their is a quick and it will bleed
l might think there true and l hearded whiches need to clip there nail and that they have to clip their toe nails and they have gigantic feet and giganti hands
any time is good but if Ur trying not to wear too much all the time have Ur nails done... * when Ur on a date or for gno * after u go camping * when u fell like u need it
On average about once A month.
yep. Usually once or twice a month or so. If you don't, their nails become either to long or they curl under and then the guinea pig wont be able to walk well, and it will be EXTREMELY painful. you can either go to a vet, or learn how to do it from a pro. I do my own guinea-pig's nails. it can be very difficult at times, especially if they have black nails. You will need to buy a special light to see where the blood line is if you want to clip those nails. Hope i helped!
You can do 1 of 2 things : You can take it to the vet and have them clip it. It might be better to have them show you the first time so you can do it yourself later. The other thing is that you can clip it yourself with nail clippers purchased in a grooming kit at the pet store.
I clip them at a couple of weeks old. They begin to get quite sharp and can scratch the mother during feeding.
Rabbits nails never stop growing. Although the nails grow slowly, it will gradually get long enough where it can trip over them while walking. If the nails are visible through the rabbits paws, you need to clip them. Ask your vet how to do it the right way and you can buy specially made small animal nail clippers and do it yourself! Don't cut the pink part of the nail! That hurts!
i think you need your nails so that no bugs or bacteria will grow on it and so if you is going on a date and you want your nails done
Claws becuz they need claws to get there food not nails
If you cannot have a groomer clip your dogs nails and need to do it yourself, just take the very pointed tip off to make a blunt end.
No, it is not good for guineas or rabbits to get as wet as they would get in a shower. They bathe themselves with their tongues and don't need a shower in water. Taking them in the shower could make them sick or even kill them.
