Usually every month if given a water bowl to soak in and a rock to scratch on. Keepingthe humidity up such as misting the cage once a day with a heat lamp on but this is not mandatory. Hope I helped.
It varies depending on age. Younger reptiles shed more frequently - as their skin doesn't 'stretch' like ours does. For example - a newly hatched lizard may shed once a month, while an adult of the same species could go a year or more between shedding.
evry 2 weeks they shed every time they loose it unless u let them swim the shedding will decrease
anoles will shed their skin about once or twice
depends on spider but about twice a year
My Corn Snakes shed about every 3 weeks.
they shed about evry 4 months
They shed 20 times a year
every 2 minutes
Many lizards shed their skin several times a year.
Yes they will - They will shed usually at least once every year. The younger the Gecko is - the more often it will shed.
Every second.
All lizards shed their skin once in a while and so does the komododragon.
Yes - if they have a injury to their skin - they will shed more frequently as their body tries to repair it.
When Iguanas shed they are often pretty sedentary. It's pretty tiresome to shed off all of your skin and young Iguanas do it very often. However, if your Iguanas activity level has completely dropped to the point where you would describe them as 'lethargic' there could be a definite problem. Lethargy in Iguanas is often a sign of something very serious going on. With more information, a more detailed response could be given. Otherwise, I would take my Iguana to the vet if she was not eating at all.
No African Dwarf Frogs do not shed there skin.
They regularly shed their skin its quite irreagular for them to shed skin though..
Yes they do ! A snakes skin, while flexible, doesn't expand as they grow like ours does. Periodically, they have to shed the old skin in order to grow. They also shed to aid in repairing wounds to their skin too. Young snakes shed more often (sometimes every two months) than older snakes because most of their growing is done while they're young - just as we do. Therefore they need to shed more often. An adult snake of five years or so - may only shed once a year (or even less !) My oldest Royal Pythons only shed roughly every 16 months - yet their babies shed every seven to eight weeks !
Yes, as they grow they will molt (shed their skin) a number of times before they pupate. Lar
