The doctors and internet reports state that you are supposed to feel the baby move, kick, turn or flutter at least 10 times every hour. Don't be alarmed if you don't think they move that often, a lot of times you are moving around and the movement of the baby goes unnoticed. I am now 31 weeks prego and freak out sometimes because i try and count kicks all day long. If you are ever in doubt drink some juice, lay still on your left side and in no time you should feel your baby move. if you do not within 2 hrs contact your doctor for more advise.
After the first felt fetal movement (quickening) between 16 and 20 weeks usually, you can go days in between feeling the baby move because the fetus and it's little muscles are still very small. After 24 weeks if you have not felt your baby move you should contact your doctor (though if the placenta is in the front or 'anterior' position or you are overweight, the movements may be more difficult for you to feel). After about the 28th week, you should be able to feel 10 separate movements within any given hour. Watch the clock and see how long it takes you to feel 10 different kicks, punches or squirms. Try drinking some juice or having a snack and then sitting or laying down to help aide in feeling the motions if your baby's kicks are not very strong or you have trouble feeling them. If 2 hours have gone by and you have not yet felt 10 movements, contact your doctor as this could be a sign of fetal distress.
You start to feel the movement of your baby by twenty weeks. This is called as quickening. In the first pregnancy you may not feel the movement very often. In next pregnancy, you are experienced and can feel them more often.

You are supposed to start feeling your fetus moves between weeks 18 and 22.
If a fetus has died how can it move?

You move it three times.
it may mean that the fetus does not have enough room to move around as freely because during the last month the fetus goes through a final growth spurt. there is also something called intrauterine growth restriction that can cause the fetus to not move as much.
A tendon. Ligaments are fibers which aren't supposed to move. Tendons are supposed to move.
Yes. As the fetus gets older, it responds to loud sounds. Also, many of the mother's stomach muscles move when she sneezes and the baby responds to this movement.
