every 100,000 km
100K if they are platinum plugs, 50K if they are regular plugs.
how do i know when my glow plugs need to be changed in my vauxhall astra cdti
no
It's usually recommended every 50 to 60 thousand miles.
I just spoke with a Parts person at a local Toyota dealer. He told me that the 2004 Toyota Matrix requires Iridium spark plugs, which retails for about $12 at the dealership, and it should not need to be changed until 120,000 miles.
dude you need a tune up
Spark plugs need to be changed. had the same problem and it disappeared when I replaced the plugs.
platinum plugs 75,000 miles. resistor plugs 30,000.
I would replace the spark plugs after 50K, the wires and plugs again at 100K.
Use a gap-less plug. That's is, one that doesn't need to be gapped. Such as bosch platinum.
This question totally depends on what kind of spark plugs you have in there in the first place. I personally have high end spark plugs which don't need to be changed for 75,000 miles. Unless you see signs of failing spark plugs, they don't need to be changed. Having a general knowledge of what these may be will be needed to know. For instance misfires are often caused by failing spark plugs and or wires. If your engine is running smoothly and gas mileage is good, don't concern yourself. Shops and technicians will lie to you and tell you otherwise. They have kids to feed, who can blame them.
