Oil or natural gas
both
Crude oil
They are called expansion loops. They absorb displacements due to thermal expansions in the pipelines subject to wide temperature ranges.
Crude oil.
They are metal (or perhaps plastic) tubes through which gases or chemicals are pumped from one place to another.
There are a few ways. Rigs or oil platforms are linked together by pipelines. From there it could run all the way to shore to a facility and back to a station where it gets pumped into an oil tanker ship. From the platforms the pipelines could also run to a man-made island station or FPSO (A floating production, storage and offloading vessel) where it could be pumped into oil tanker ships.
Through pipelines and with tankers and supertankers
Coal is solid and oil is a liquid.
When oil get pumped up it will go to separator for separere the oil from water and gas(H2S).After separated oil will go to refinery.

Oil often seeps to the surface, but when it is deep in the earth it is pumped out through an oil well.

Pipelines, Oil tankers (Ships), Oil Drums, Road Tankers.
Coal is kept underground in mines. When it is needed, it is dug up and shipped to power stations where it is burnt to produce electricity.Oil is similarly kept underground. After it has been pumped to the surface it is stored in tanks, tankers and pipelines for transportation to where it is needed.Natural gas is kept the same way as oil, in tanks, tankers and pipelines.
Shafts are drilled down through the earth layers until they come to an oil deposit. Oil is then pumped up to be refined.
