My guinea pig had babies once and they seemed to begin running after just a few hours. I'm not sure if this happens with all guinea pigs, though.
Most Guinea Pigs becomes lazy when they are pregnant,so most Guinea Pigs will not run away from home. But,Pregnant Guinea Pigs must need more exercise.

Guinea Pigs are generally not lazy, they are very social and prefer to interact with thier owners.Ê Guinea Pigs prefer to live in a space where they have room to run and play.Ê
Cats ,maybe dogs and wild animal's 2 day old baby guinea pigs were attacked by cats and so was the dad guinea pig and they didn't survive so never let your cats near your guinea pigs if they are not in a closed hutch or run or cage. Hope this helped.
they will run a way to get away from you hahahaha
Guinea pigs, like all animals, need exercise or their muscles will atrophe (go soft). This is the reason tanks for guinea pigs usually have a wheel that the little animals can run around in for exercise.
Guinea pigs are quite the ready freddy animal. They are born with all their teeth, eyes open and ready to run. If their mother lives outside the newborn babies will be fine outside. As long as it is not too cold or too hot.
guinea pigs love running around. so letting him/her run around in a pen outside would be heaven. (with you watching of course)

Guinea pigs are sweet, friendly, and sociable animals that love attention. They are also quite happy animals if they receive the proper care. Happy guinea pigs usually squeak, run around, and/or ''popcorn,'' which is a term for hop, jump, or skip.
