The lesson that is lost to most all who read Genesis is that this was not the first Creation but was actually a re-creation of the fallen Earth. Just read the beginning verses and notice that the Earth is already formed and under water in total darkness. The 7-days of the following verses speaks of God renewing the Earth and Creating mankind to manage it. There are several verses that speak to this event:
Psalm 104:30New King James Version (NKJV)30 You send forth Your Spirit, they are created;
And You renew the face of the earth.
With this being the case, the Scripture does not specifically state the age of the Universe. It only uses terms like 'in the beginning' and in Genesis it refers to this renewal but in John 1:1-3 it refers to the eons of eternity:
John 1:1-3New King James Version (NKJV) The Eternal Word1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.There are many different versions of Christianity, so not all Christians have the same opinions about practically anything. Biblical literalists believe that the universe is about 6000 years old. Other Christians are perfectly willing to accept the scientific estimate that the universe is about thirteen and a half billion years old. And doubtless there are other Christians who have other age estimates for the universe.
Uh... Yes? Just because Christians don't really believe in the Big Bang (I'm Christian and I believe in it, so sue me.) doesn't mean they don't believe in the universe.
AnswerChristians believe the Old Testament. The Genesis of Old Testament says that the universe had been created from none in six days.
christians believe that god made the universe,life and everything! evolution says that everything happened on accident. christians believe that god made the universe,life and everything! evolution says that everything happened on accident.
we believe everything in both of them
A:Some scientists are Christians and, although the concept of a multiverse is necessarily only a hypothesis, it is possible for them to believe in the likelihood of multiple universes. To do so is no more problematic for religion than to believe that the earth is not the centre of our universe.
Christians believe in one god, who created the universe and all that is in it.

Christians do not believe in reincarnation. Christians believe in Heaven.
Christians and Jews today believe and study the Old Testament. The Jews made it, but as Jesus was Jewish, Christians study it too.
They believe He is the Messiah prophesied in the Old Testament. Most believe that He is God incarnate.
God gave each person the ability to think and make choices. That includes choosing what to believe and what to question.
Christians believe he was, Jews and Muslims believe not. Certainly there is no direct or indirect reference to Jesus in the Old Testament.
