Once a puppy has been weaned from its mother, a dog should NOT be given milk, only water. In the event a puppy has lost its mother before being weaned, there are specific formulas for developing puppies that can be obtained through a vet or specialty pet store.
My dog gave birth to 6 puppies and sadly passed away the following day which put me in the position of being a mommy to 6 little shih tzu's. I had to bottle feed them myself with a special formula and bottles that you can get at the vets office if you can't find it at the pet store.
after one month before that cerilaac is good
If the puppy has small teeth then you need to soak some puppy food in warm water and let them eat that, but when puppies are weaned they do not need milk or formula.
dog food and not milk!

You can"t give a puppy cows milk (unless you want throw up and poo all over your house) cause its not good for their stomach.
NO! Cows milk could kill a puppy that young. Ciows milk has VERY high levels of Protein in it which could cause constipation or sickness. Goats milk is far better for a puppy which is being hand fed. Mothers milk is best unless she has rejected the puppy then I HIGHLY suggest goats milk over cows. Using cows milk is the boggest muck up a novice breeder can do.
As long as it is puppy milk, formulated or from the mother, it is fine for the puppy or dog to drink it through their life. However milk from other animals, such as cows, is a big no. All breeds of dogs are lactose intolerant unless the milk is specifically for dogs.

no because it is old enough to eat puppy food. so giving the puppy milk is unnecessary for it.
No absolutely not. Go to the pet store and buy milk replacer for puppies. It is just like human baby formula, made for their sensitive stomachs.
"One year old, this is cow's milk. Cow's milk, this is one year old."
No - at this age, your puppy has been completely weaned from his mother and no longer has the ability to digest milk sugars. You can cause digestive upset, including diarrhea, if you feed milk to a 10 month old puppy.
A month old puppy is not weined yet. He still needs his mothers milk.
They were milked the old fashioned way.Now they use factories to milk cows.
no r puppy wont need milk if it is 6 weeks old just give it water cauz puppy milk is just a rip off
I really dont think you should give a puppy milk. They drink out of moms milk. I am not really sure. It depends how old the puppy is. If the puppy is like a couple months old probably water would be best probably. well, i am having 2 puppies and i will like to tell you that .... if he is more than 4 months old you can feed him with cow milk.. as i did <according to vet> if the puppy is more small feed them with cerelac <given to human babies>!!!! you are suppose to give the goats milk, cows milk is hard on their stomachs
