Most departments want you to be at least 21 years of age. Also, some will allow you to apply at 20 1/2 years of age. If you are just getting out of high school, I suggest that you go and at least get a 2-year degree. Getting a job in Law Enforcement is getting harder and you want to make yourself standout among the other applicants.
