Typically, colleges indicate a candidate must be 18 years of age or older OR have obtained a high school diploma. Thus, this leaves the age of an individual open for those who have a high school diploma. This is not without some problems for institutions where a student may be quite a bit younger, for example below the age of 16, and I am not sure how they handle this.
