How old do you have to be to get your nose pierced in FL?

It varies from place to place, but usually about 16. But, if you are going to get your cartilage pierced, don't go to a standard store. (i.e. Wal*Mart, Claire's, icing, Piercing Pagoda, or any of the sort.)

Go to a professional piercing studio, and preferably one with a very good reputation.

Even if you have to travel a little bit, it'll be worth it in the long run.

At the stores I mentioned above, they use a piercing gun, which is honestly hell on your ears, and any other place they think is safe to pierce with it.

What happens when you get pierced with a gun, is it shatters the tissue and basically just puts blunt force trauma on the site of the piercing, and the cells that were disrupted will try to regrow around the back of the poor stud that was just forced through your ear, and it's just not good at all.

Also, they can't properly sterilize the gun, because it's most commonly made of plastic, and the alcohol pads they use don't do anything.
