There is no such thing as a license for babysitting.
It is a question of convincing the client that you are old enough to take care of their children. And I think any 11 year old could convince me that they could take care of other children and handle any emergencies that might come up.
While there are few laws regarding ages, most authorities agree that a 12 to 13 year old can be left at home for a few hours during the day.

If however you are professionally babysitting other people's children, that is to say, running a daycare, then you do need a license. Anne
well im pretty sure that when you say babysitting license you intend on running your own daycare program. but i believe its just a document you get for daycares
