Stores and online retailers will not sell you an airsoft gun unless you are 18 or older.

If you intend to play 'airsoft' with fellow peers, the law doesn't oppose, only on private property (people's gardens, greens etc) you are not allowed to play airsoft. If you intend to play airsoft in a multi confliction with your companions, they must either; be 18 or over, if not, parents' agreements are compulsory!

The health and Safety Act of 1998 states under 'law on weapons' in Article 16 that "airsoft companies, organisations and non affiliated users are fully in legal position to conflict airsoft weapons on public grounds".

Eye protection is essential, and and without any being worn, violates the up-to-date Health and Safety Act of 1998. So there is no age limit or restrictions, this factor lies within the minds and powers of the parents of the child. IF the parent(s) agree with each other (both the child and other parents) you are perfectly in legal position to play airsoft.

The only oppositions are:

Playing on Private Property

Playing on greens

No eye protection

Playing on people's gardens

Missing parental consent (if child has the desire to play)

Firing at any un-intended persons

Compulsory and only fields to play 'airsoft' on:

In large parks with few people compacted

Any OPEN fields

Ranges reserved for such sports

OWN garden with neighbours' agreements
