well, it depends on how mature you are. i read those books when i was in 7th grade. i was 12 then. but dont let the name get to you. its just about a notebook that a Ryuk (someone from the underworld or something) dropped on earth that allows you to kill someone by writeing in their name and way that you want them to die. theres more to it but i dont want to spoil it for u if you ever get to read it. but back 2 the question, i'd say if you are 11 or younger, you should wait a few more years to read it. but then again, it all depends on how mature you are.
