The earlier you start to get your puppy used to the sensation of a toothbrush in its mouth, the better. Give it a few days to settle into your household, then begin to introduce the toothbrush. Make sure you make it a fun experience, and reward the puppy afterwards, so that it does not associate the toothbrush with unpleasantness.

Tip: I wouldn't brush your puppies teeth until he is at least eight months old!
