1. they reproduce sexually
2. they have 2-8 offspring's(be careful of any of the other males in the cage for they might kill the father of the chicks or the chicks in jealousy.
3. the mother needs a dark area lay her chicks.A good idea is to put torn up newspaper inside (don't worry about food the father will bring that to her0
4. it takes 17-28 days for them to grow into there full Size once they hatch
