It varies by breed. The smaller breeds normally come into heat at around 6 months while the larger breeds are around 8-12 months. I agree with the First Answerer, spay her. You will cut down her risks of cancers that she could get as an unspayed female such as mammary tumors, uterine infections, perianal tumors, etc. She will live a longer and more healthy life if you spay her.
