I just laughed and said that nobody would care, because after all, we could just take off our shirts and our pants and go swimming in our boxer shorts. Since we were by ourselves at this beach, it wouldn’t matter if we were just in our underwear, but even if anybody else happened to come by, it wouldn’t matter since our boxer shorts underwear looked pretty much identical to regular swim suits. As I was splashing around in the waves, I looked back at Brock, and noticed him slowly and hesitantly getting up to come and join me. IT WAS BECAUSE HE WASNT EVEN WEARING BOXERS. He was wearing a pair of tight, Calvin Klein white briefs, or “tighty whities.” Even though I couldn’t remember the last time I’d seen another guy younger than my dad’s generation wearing tighty whities and I couldn’t imagine what Brock was thinking by wearing them or why he would want to wear them in the first place, I still felt bad for pressuring him to go swimming in his undies when he clearly was wearing underpants that he‘d Be embarrassed to be seen in. So before he could run in and join me clad in just his briefs, I ran back our, put my pants back on, and told him that we didn’t need to go swimming-we could just sit on the beach and build a sandcastle instead. I think he was grateful that i relieved him of having to swim in his briefs.
