Impossible to answer without the name of the maker and serial number, even then, it will depend on if data has been published
Assuming you mean the Stevens Model 238 bolt-action, I have magazines. sales@countrygunsmith.net
The 238A was made in the 1940's. Bolt-action shotguns dont sell very well these days, and the 238A typically brings around $80-$100 in normal used condition. sales@countrygunsmith.net
The Ranger tradename was used by Sears Roebuck. Model 101.2 is the Savage model 238. You can't get an exact date on these, but it was probably sometime between 1945 and 1965. Value would be $100 or so.
The 238 is similar to the 258. For parts, try gunpartscorp.com
I just purchased one from a gun shop in south eastern Pennsylvania for $75 it is in fair condition with a nonworking magazine, but it had been sitting in the shop for a long time. until i was dumb enough to walk in and buy it. So, to answer your question less than would make it worth sellling.
The models 238 and 238A werw made some time between 1959 and 1968. I can not find information on the 238TB but it looks like they stopped making the .410 bolt in 1968.

There is no Remington 238 caliber, If you mean .223, about $250, depending on condition.
The phone number of the Toy And Action Figure Museum is: 405-238-6300.
52% of 238= 52% * 238= 0.52 * 238= 123.76
√(-238) = i√238 ≈ ±15.43i
Ranger 101.2 was sold by Sears and made by Savage (called the Savage 238). The dates are unclear, but some report they were made from 1935 to 1945 (others says longer for the Ranger). A good bolt action shotgun, fed by a magazine. Simple, reliable, well built shotgun.
