China's current flag (known as the "Five-Star Red Flag") was created for the new communist government in 1949, so it's a little more 60 years old.

China did not have a flag for most of its history. Its first flag was the "Yellow Dragon Flag", which was adopted in 1862 and remained in use until the fall of Imperial China in 1911.
