It is impossible to tell how old an individual T-Rex skeleton may be, but a good approximation can be made with some simple logic. So instead of answering your question, I'm asking another. How long should it take a large skeleton to fossilize? actualy a tyrannosaurus rex can be told how it was by chiping a bit of a bone and looking insid

It is from the Triassic period about 2 million years ago.

The Dinosaurs are about 225 million years old(Late Triassic Era)

Dinosaurs first evolved about 225 million years ago, and died out about 65.5 million years ago. Therefor, any given type of dinosaur falls somewhere in that range. Dinosaurs like Stegosaurus, Allosaurus, and Apatosaurus (Brontosaurus) lived about 150 million years ago. T-rex, Triceratops, and Ankylosaurus lived about 65.5 million years ago, and were some of the last dinosaurs.

However, scientists consider birds to be dinosaurs because fossil evidence suggests that birds evolved from dinosaurs. In that case, there are some 'dinosaurs' who are living right now!

Dinosaurs are about 280 million years old, but new fossils are appearing everywhere. The earliest known dinosaurs, so far, are Coelophysis and Herrerasaurus. Around 65.5 MYA (million years ago) ddinosaurs died out, possibly due to an asteroid strike.

There are two different views on this.

According to many scientists they became extinct 65 million years ago.

According to The Bible they were created around 6000 years ago.

One alternative view states that although God created them, they are still the age which evolutionists propose.

Unconfirmed reports of a number of different species living dinosaurs from varied sources, over a long period of time in the recent past, and from people unknown to each other, also suggest their continued existence in remote locations, much like the Coelacanth fish and the Wollemi Pine previously also thought extinct millions of years ago.

Further to this, the relatively recent discovery of fresh dinosaur tissue by Dr. Mary Schweitzer also suggests the 65 million year scenerio is questionable, since it is clear that such tissue could not have survived for 65 million years but only a tiny fraction of this time.

Another figure is 248 million years old.
