Can't tell you exactly but can help you bracket it. I have a Domestic Rotary Electric sewing machine Model 151. Serial No. 153-34778. It was purchased in July 1949. Still runs great (I used it this morning) and is in a beautiful Maple cabinet that hasn't a scratch on it. Looks like the day we bought it.
I don't know it was my mother-in-law
Haha lol..shut up
If the machine is a Singer, serial numbers and "birthdates" can be found on the Singer website http://www.singerco.com/support/serial_1letter.html Assuming your machine is a Singer, it was manufactured in 1927.
Your sewing machine was made in 1924 in Elizabeth, New Jersey I do not know the value of the machine, but I can tell you it depends on the condition of the machine, the condition of the cabinet, and the buyer. A collector might pay top dollar, but most collectors want old, old machines.
First, it is not a machine gun, regardless of how it is marked. Second, most likely made around the turn of the century.
you can check the serial number on the singer website but according to the one you gave it was made in 1910
To determine the age of a Champion sewing machine, you would need to look up the serial number, as manufacturers often encode the production date within it. Typically, this information can be found in the user manual or on the manufacturer's website. If you cannot find it there, reaching out to sewing machine enthusiasts or forums may help. Additionally, many vintage sewing machine collectors can provide insights based on the model and serial number.
To determine the age of your Admiral sewing machine with the serial number Y58639, you would need to consult the manufacturer's records or reference materials that provide a timeline for serial numbers. Typically, Admiral sewing machines were produced in the mid-20th century, so your machine may date from that period. If you have access to specific databases or forums dedicated to vintage sewing machines, they may provide more detailed information based on your serial number.
Needlebar.com has a chart showing serial numbers against years. Serial numbers between 1,500,001 and 1,619,904 for Frister and Rossman were made from 1915 to 1920. I'm guessing in the latter part of that period by your serial number.
