it is best to start breeding a female guinea pig between 6 weeks to 5 months. it is not recommended to breed a female guinea pig after 5 months because just like in humans after a certain age ther eis complication it goes for the guinea pigs aswell. but if the guinea pig has had its first litter before 5 months then it is okay to continue breed her. hope this helps
To farrow means to give birth to a littler of piglets. A female pig will come into heat at about 5 months old and she is able to be bred as early as 6monts.
We wean our piglets at 8 weeks old, a bit longer if they are a runt or weak.
Four weeks. They should be eating piggie pellets then. They, if they are pet types they can leave mom and you at 4-6 weeks.
They are able to get pregnant at over 6 months of age.
I would recommend that your pig be 1 year old before it becomes pregnant but you should never intentionally make your guinea pig pregnant!
from around 5-6 months old

A new guinea pig?
When a male pig is searching for a mate he will mark his scent on trees and other areas. He does this in hopes of attracting the attention of a female pig in heat.
