He died on 6th July 1553 aged 15. He was just 15. He became King at the age of 9. He was succeeded by his haf sister Mary, but not until Lady Jane Grey had lost her head.
Edward VI, who served as King of England and Ireland for six years between 1547 and 1553, passed away at the age of 15 as a result of tuberculosis.
Many conspiracy theories exist, such as that he was poisoned.
