Jasper Hale is the mate of Alice Cullen in Twilight. He has the ability to control people's emotions and feel them/know them. He was in Texas during one of the war's and three girls found him. They were vampires. They needed someone like him to help them, so they changed him. Then, he and Alice found one another and together they found the Cullens.

∙ 14y agoA vampire named Maria; Jasper's story is in Eclipse, the chapter named "Newborn". A vampire named Maria changed Jasper. Jasper was named Jasper Whitlock. When he was eighteen, he faked his age to get into the army. He ranked higher and higher until he was at the top. Jasper did not know of his special ability yet. Even with his fake age Jasper was the youngest major in Texas. (I think that Major Jasper Whitlock sounds cute). Jasper's job was to evacuate all the women and children from that area. He saw Maria and the rest of her coven and naturally, Maria liked him. She changed him into a vampire and his job was to train newborns and when they were a year old and their strength was no longer more superior than a two or older vampires' kill them. Seriously, Major Jasper Whitlock!! Eep!
