what dates did seti 1 rule in
The period of Pharaoh Seti I's rule is a source of debate among historians. The beginning date is thought to be either 1294 BC or 1290 BC. However, it is agreed upon that his reign ended in 1269 BC.
The general consensus is that Seti I died as the result of a disease (he was relatively young at the time of his death, and there is anecdotal evidence that it may have been related to his heart).

nobody did...he died of natural death because when he succeeded the throne, he was already old. He was not born in a royal family. but since his predecessor was Horemheb, and horemheb did not have any kids or son, he decided to let Ramses 1 succeed him. than after Ramses 1 died about 1 year later, his son Seti 1 succeeded him.
