The common assumption is that Jesus born 2015 years ago. (This answer was given in 2015)

Answer/

2014 years old. Dionysius Exiguus instituted the Christian era calendar of which is in general use today in the Gregorian era calendar.

Dionysius Exiguus began his calculations according to the incarnation of Jesus Christ, and that date is January 1 of year 1: AD 1. Currently therefore Jesus would be in his 2015th year as at Nov. 29 2015.

AD stands for Anno Domini - A.D. or year of our Lord. Midnight is given as the time of Jesus' birth (Infancy Gospels) and so at midnight or 00.00 am on January 1 of 2016 Jesus Christ would be 2015 years old according to the calculations instituted by Dionysius Exiguus.

Jesus is both God and Man. As God, He is eternal (see John 1:1-3). As a man, many now point to the Fall of 5/4 BC during the Feast of Trumpets and the Jewish New Year. That being the case, and if we remember that 1 year must be added to our current calendar because of the absence of year '0' then we have 5 + 1 + 2015 = 2021 years old.
