Use you key to unlock the doors.
Use door key on door
If it's a factory installed alarm, you should be able to turn it off by: Disconnecting the battery. Next close all the doors on the car. With the doors closed, reconnect the battery. Go to the passenger door and use the key to first lock, and then unlock it. That's how I've gotten them to turn off in the past. If that doesn't work, disconnect the battery, put the key in the ignition and turn it to the "ON" position, and then reconnect the battery. Then close the doors, and then lock and unlock them from the passenger side with the key.
No. It's a different body style with different door measurements. Not true... The doors are compatible from 1996-2007

I am not sure. I have pressed the remote on my keys, but none of the car doors open. I have already had the battery replaced on the remote, which was flat, but when pressed, the doors still won't open. What do I do/

Have a 1998 BMW 740il...similar situation... battery went dead doors would not open with key or fob. IF you can get charge to battery key fob will open door...if you can't get battery to charge, then good luck, best advice is to break window and crawl in. Back windows on my car were a couple of inches down was able to use pole to get hood open charged battery enough to get doors open.
If the question is, "what battery does a 1998 Stratus use?" the answer is Group Size 75. You can put any Group Size 75 battery in it.
