It's not they made it from 1952-1960
Lets start with the fact that Remington started making the Model 760 in the year 1952.The 300 savage chambering was available from 1952-1958.While not rare these rifles will bring between 200-300 dollars, depending on overall condition, and a good bore.
The year and headstamp (Remington Arms) are not particularly uncommon... the caliber of the round would be needed in order to determine the rarity.
This is the rare one(caliber) and price reflects. $600 and up for one in great condition.
It was manufactured from 1912-1935 and is a fairly rare gun. In very good shape they can fetch between $400 to $600 or even a bit more.
It is unusual vs. rare

yes, because it is a rare caliber
Smith and Wesson Model 1
No. The 742 was made from 1960-1980. @ 1,433,269 were made
The savage models 1899A,1899B,and 1899C were the only models of the early 1899 savage rifles to be chambered in 38-55Win.caliber.These would be considered quite rare to a collector of Savage model 1899 rifles.I would say that the Minimum value would be 650 dollars, and the price can only go up from there. You could also add 100% for a rifle with a fancy checkered deluxe wood stock,or 30% more for a checkered plain wood stock,to the minimum price I have quoted.
Depends entirely on who made it.
Rare item about 32,500 in this market
