Yes if the tattoo artist is a good tattoo artist it is safe to get, but it is not safe for guaranteeing your job. Neck tattoos will really limit job opportunities. I'm a tattoo artist and I haven't taken that step yet because i don't know what my future may hold.

no, no sun is good for tattoos, it will fade them. i go to the tanning beds and it takes me about 15 minuits to cover all my tattoos with a spf 30 sun screen, its a pain in the ass, but i don't want ugly faded tats!

They're perfectly fine. Ink wouldn't expire to that extent to cause health damages.
