If you mean to distinguish somatic chromosomes from sex chromosomes, then you have 22 pairs of somatic chromosomes plus one pair of sex chromosomes, for a total of 46 chromosomes.

∙ 13y agoYour normal body cells have 23 pairs of chromosomes, whereas your sex cells only have half of that, because when they join together each parent gives half of their chromosomes to form and offspring with the normal 23 pairs.
