An abstract gives you a clear idea about the research that you are doing. A person who is reading may be mostly attracted to the abstract. This is an important part of any academic paper. The abstract narrates what a person will be reading about, but not necessarily what the research paper content contains. It only needs to be one paragraph that is stated clearly and logically. It just need to give a general overview of the information and it helps the reader decided whether the paper is worth reading.
