That's probably his/her way of telling you he/she likes you! He/she just doesn't know how to tell you, so they just want you to notice them!
It doesn't matter if it is an immature emotional expression of love, however. As we learn to love, we have to learn not to harm people with our expression of it, otherwise it doesn't do us much good. No matter how much you like your crush, tell them if what they are doing is harming you. They need to stop.
