If it's a close friend or realative: You should reply with how your really feeling
If it's someone you hardly know or doesn't care: You should just say "I'm fine, how are you?" Or just "I'm fine thank you"
If how you are at the moment personal and you don't want anyone to know about it: Just say that your fine. "I'm fine" or "I'm fine thank you"
It depends on how much time you have.
If asked in passing (or if you're asking about grammar), usually a quick "not much" will suffice. Answers like "good" are not actually grammatically correct, but usually unnoticed. Good is an adjective, good can't be what's up or what's happening. "I'm good" is more correct.
If asked by someone in conversation that's not a close friend, a good way to open conversation is giving a specific example of something good that's happened recently: "Finally finished planting the flowers in the backyard." This is a good way to start up a conversation as they can ask more about it, or you can in turn ask how they're doing.
If asked by someone in conversation that IS a close friend, be honest! :)
You could say,"The sky!"
Or you could say, "Nothing much."
You usually answer to how you feel. If you are happy you could say, "Nothing really. I'm just happy!"
You should reply politely that you are doing well, unless there is some real problem. How are you doing is a polite greeting rather than a request for a detailed statement of your health.
it depends how you are feeling on that day.
"Not much", is a common reply.
How are you?
I am good, thank you.
Them: what's up
you: the sky.
NOPE
The sky!
Say what you are doing, possibly in a banterish way.
When asked what's up your response can be as simple as not much. Or you can go into detail about what you are doing.
Sound
Clarify status of relationship.
Fine thank-you.
my life is going well

huh? this question is weird. it isn't really clear what you're asking... If you meant to ask: "Someone asked me on facebook, what makes me think he doesn't like me; what should I reply?" then you should reply with whatever it is.
When I am asked how I am, I usually reply that I am fine.
Let's say somebody asked me who is this, then I'll reply this is cloillia
Say yes or no.
Fine, How about you.
