The Model T had a top speed of 40-45 mph. Problem was that the roads were so bad that is was almost impossible to go that fast. Most roads in the U.S. were unpaved at the time. The Model T could chug along at around walking speed.

The Model T was not the first car made by Ford. That was the Quadricycle 1898 followed by the Model A, B, and many prototypes. The Model T did not go into production until 1908 followed by the second generation Model A. Any Model T is old as the last one built was in 1927. So even the newest is 85 years old.
