It should mean fast movement. e.g. Bradykinesia is slow movement. Bradycardia is slow heart rate. Tachycardia is fast heart rate.
You need to try this for yourself. Focus on where you feel the best muscle activation. I found that with close-grip pushups, I was more targeting the triceps. I feel that wide pushups are better for chest development. Mind-muscle connection and slow, controlled reps are vital.
